Over the years, Niko has explored different aspects of the music industry. In 2016, Niko took his creativity to a new level and started studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. 

 

He then returned to his native Sweden and studied for three years at Musikmakarna. A highly regarded songwriting school throughout the world composed of successful graduate artists, songwriters, and producers. It is the only school where well known and accomplished producer Max Martin has visited and still visits yearly with his team at MXM Publishing.

On a return visit to  LA in the spring of 2022, he had the opportunity to do an internship with Hollywood composer Alex Lu. Niko's love of scoring for picture was established and his full-time focus is now set on scoring for film and media, creating emotion in music over other elements. 

 

Currently, Niko is living in LA, taking film and music classes to enhance his career while seeking professional opportunities.

 

 In the fall of 2025, he will begin a year-long film scoring program at UCLA extension, thanks to a generous third-party grant he was awarded from the Gålö Foundation in Sweden.
